  • “The internet was invented by India lakhs of years ago, not by US or other western countries”. “Many may disagree but if the internet was not there, how could Sanjaya see the war in Kurukshetra and describe it to Dhritarashtra? It means internet was there, that satellites and technology were there in this country at that time”
  • “We see women as goddess Laxmi, Saraswati. Aishwarya Rai represents the Indian women. She became the Miss World and that’s all right. But I do not understand the beauty of Diana Hayden.”
  • “After pursuing mechanical engineering one should not go for civil services. Instead, civil engineers should join civil services as they have the knowledge and experience to help build administration and society.”
  • “Why run after netas for government jobs? Graduates should get cows and milk it to earn Rs 10 lakh in 10 years. Instead of running after political parties, had the same youth set up a paan shop, he would have had a bank balance of Rs 5 lakh by now,”

The above statements are not a work of fiction but some real gems from Tripura Chief Minister’s Biplab Kumar Deb’ book of wisdom.

And we must really thank him for that last comment. It was almost 12 noon Sunday and we were waiting eagerly for @BjpBiplab’s new statement and he did not disappoint us. Sharing another loaded gem from his book of wisdom, he made quite a case for rearing cows and selling pan instead of running after govt jobs.

Dare we say it , but at this rate, Biplab Deb will soon leave Kapil Sharma far behind in the race to be India’s best stand up comedian! And with Kapil Sharma not in the best phase of his life professionally, it is only a matter of time before Biplab Kumar Deb’ replaces him.

Archimedes had one eureka moment in his life time, but our very own Biplab Deb is giving us the eureka moment almost daily.

They say too much knowledge is dangerous and they are RIGHT !
